ISC2 Certification Renewal Programs
If you hold an ISC2 Certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CC, etc.), you can enroll in our CPE programs. All courses are online and eligible for earning CPE credits towards renewing your ISC2 certification.
3 Steps to Renew Your ISC2 Certification
You've worked hard to earn the reputable ISC2 certification. Do not let it go off your hands by missing CPE credits.
There are three easy steps to renew your ISC2 certification.
Step 1: Earn the Required CPE Credits
Each ISC2 certification requires a different number of CPE credits every three years to renew the certification.
- CISSP: 120 CPE Credits
- CC: 45 CPE Credits
- CCSP, CSSLP: 90 CPE Credits
- CGRC, HCISPP, SSCP: 60 CPE Credits
- CISSP-ISSAP, ISSEP, ISSMP: 20 CPE Credits
Note that ISC2 recommends an annual CPE earning for each track as well. For instance, for the CISSP certification, the recommended annual CPE credits are 40, totaling 120 credits over a three-year cycle.
There is a further Group A and Group B distinction of the CPE credits as well. You can read more in the ISC2 CPE Credits post.
Step2: Pay the Annual Management Fee (AMF)
ISC2 requires certification holders to pay an annual management fee of $125. Do not forget to pay the AMF to keep your status active in the ISC2 database.
Step 3: Renew Your ISC2 Certification
After completing the required CPE credits, if you paid the annual management fees as well, you will be able to renew your ISC2 certification. Your new three-year renewal cycle will start right after you renew your certification.
