PMI Certification Renewal Programs

If you hold a PMI Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, etc.), you can enroll in our PDU programs. All courses are online and eligible for earning PDUs towards renewing your PMI certification.

3 Steps to Renew Your PMI Certification

You've worked hard to earn the reputable PMI certification. Do not let it slip through your hands by missing PDU credits.

There are three easy steps to renew your PMI certification.

Step 1: Earn the Required PDU Credits

Each PMI certification requires a different number of PDU credits every three years to renew the certification.

  • PMP: 60 PDU Credits
  • PMI-ACP: 30 PDU Credits
  • CAPM: 15 PDU Credits

There are different PDU categories such as Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen. Each certification has minimum and maximum thresholds for these PDU categories.

You should submit the earned PDUs in the CCRS (Continuing Certification Requirements System) portal of the PMI.

You can read more in our PDU Requirements post.

Step2: Pay the Certification Renewal Fee

Once you have earned the required PDU credits for your certification, you will be able to pay the certification renewal fee.

The renewal fee is $60 for PMI members and $150 for non-members.

Step 3: Renew Your PMI Certification

Upon paying the renewal fee, your certification will be valid for another three-year cycle. You will be expected to earn and report the same amount of PDU credits every three years.
