ISC2 CPE Reporting Guideline
Our courses align closely with ISC2 CPE requirements. If any completed course is not accepted for your CPE hours, we will issue a full refund—no questions asked. You can read more about our 100% Credit Acceptance Guarantee.
How to Report Earned CPE Credits
There are 3 basic steps to submit your earned ISC2 CPE credits.
1- Log in to your ISC2 CPE Portal
Since you are an ISC-certified professional, you should have an account at ISC2.org. Log on to your profile and navigate to the CPE portal.
2- Submit Different CPE Reports for Each Course
Each activity should have a different CPE report in the ISC2 CPE portal. For each course you will complete in our platform, you should submit a new CPE record.
Each course belongs to a different type of activity and earns a different number of CPE hours towards renewing your ISC2 certification. You can see the list of our courses, their Group A or B type, and CPE hours for each course in the following table.
Start and End Dates of Course
Since our courses are self-paced and 100% online, you can submit the date you started and the date you finished, respectively.
Category & Details
In this section, you will see a dropdown menu. Select "Education".
Then, you will see several options under the education category. Select "Courses and Seminars - Other"
Next, you will be prompted to type the details of the course (title, instructor, organization, etc.). You can type the following information.
- Course Title: Type as shown in the table above for each course you will complete on our platform.
- Presenter/Instructor: San Francisco Business School
- Summary/Course Description: You can navigate to the course sales page and copy the summary of the course description.
- For instance, for the AI & Cybersecurity Course, you can type "Master AI security and protect your data. Learn how to defend against prompt injection, secure LLM applications, and implement an end-to-end Secure AI System Development Guideline."
- Credits: Type the number of CPE credits associated with the course you completed.
- Supporting Documentation: You can submit the course completion certificate we provide at the end of each course.
-
Choose Domains Covered: Here, you will select the topics covered in the course. For instance, asset security, security and risk management, etc. Choose the relevant ones as they apply.
Once you complete the details of ISC CPE reporting, you will see a review of your submission. After review, submit the CPE record.
Once a CPE record is submitted, you cannot change it. If you need to change it, delete it and re-enter a new CPE record.
3- Pay Annual Management Fees & Renew Your ISC2 Certification
ISC2 requires an annual management fee (AMF) that each certification holder must pay to ISC2 to keep their certification status active.
ISC2 members pay a single AMF, which is due each year upon the anniversary of their certification date. Members only pay a single AMF regardless of how many certifications they earn. AMF for members with multiple certifications is due on their earliest certification anniversary.
For members who hold the following certifications, CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CGRC, CSSLP, ISSAP, ISSEP, or ISSMP, there is an AMF of 135 USD. For members who only hold CC certification, the AMF is 50 USD.
If you paid your annual management fees and completed the required CPE credits, you can renew your ISC certification.
